On April 8, the draft of the national mandatory standard "technical requirements for express special electric tricycle" drafted by the State Post Office was officially released for public comments. According to the draft, the speed of Express electric vehicles cannot exceed 15km / h.

  The draft for comments shows that the maximum speed of express tricycle shall not be greater than 15km / h, and the controller shall have anti modification design in terms of technical characteristics. Considering the safety of other traffic participants, especially in densely populated areas such as residential areas, the express tricycle shall not accelerate too fast when starting, and the starting acceleration within 4S shall not be greater than 5km / h.

  In terms of body size, the draft said that the length of the car should be within 3 meters, and the length of the car is mainly composed of car size, driving width and tire size. Compared with the previous industry standard YZ / t0136 technical requirements for express special electric tricycles, the published standard has greatly modified the whole vehicle quality of express tricycles, from no more than 300kg (light) to no more than 200kg. In terms of driving mileage, after the express tricycle is charged at one time, the driving mileage shall not be less than 60km. When the temperature is lower than - 4 °, the driving range shall not be less than 40km. In addition, according to the new regulations, the load of express tricycles can not exceed 180 kg.

  The cost may be 4000 RMB higher

  An express enterprise told reporters that the batteries of express tricycles in use generally use lead-acid batteries, which have short service life and low price. In order to meet the requirements of this standard on driving range and vehicle quality, more environmentally friendly lithium batteries or photovoltaic batteries will be used, and the price will be more than 2000 yuan. In addition, this standard also stipulates that vehicles should be equipped with satellite positioning vehicle terminals and reserved handheld terminal charging interfaces. To meet the provisions of the new standard, the price of the new express tricycle is about or will be 4000 RMB higher than that of the express tricycle in use.
