The version 2.0 roadmap clearly puts forward that hybrid power is an effective energy-saving vehicle technology, and pure electric and energy-saving vehicles should be developed simultaneously. Wang Binggang's speech was regarded by the industry as a major adjustment to the technical route of China's new energy vehicles. Previously, the main competent departments advocated pure electric vehicles and did not pay special attention to hybrid vehicle technology. For example, in some licensed cities, PHEV and HEV models are not within the scope of policy encouragement.
