  It is reported that a large number of electric tricycles are mixed in the traffic flow as a means of transportation, which not only disturbs the traffic order, but also aggravates the traffic congestion. From the driver's point of view, the safety awareness is weak, the driving skills are uneven, the vehicles do not have relevant certificates and insurance, and the vast majority of electric tricycles are illegally produced vehicles; As far as electric tricycles are concerned, the center of gravity of the car body is high, and traffic accidents such as rollover are easy to occur due to excessive loading. In case of casualties, the owner can't bear huge compensation costs at all. According to statistics, since this year alone, there have been more than 800 traffic accidents involving electric tricycles in the province, injuring more than 190 people, of which 25 were seriously injured and 5 died.

  In this action, Handan traffic police, aiming at the characteristics of large number of electric tricycles, wide distribution, flexibility and easy to evade inspection, took the combination of "checkpoint inspection" and "mobile patrol" to severely investigate and deal with illegal electric tricycles, and strive to find and deal with them together. At the same time, by explaining traffic laws and regulations and distributing publicity materials, strengthen the legal education for drivers and surrounding citizens, and enhance the traffic safety awareness of drivers and citizens.

  Handan traffic police hereby remind that no electric tricycles are allowed in the main urban area: gasoline powered tricycles, electric tricycles (except for scooters, postal, express and water delivery vehicles) and human powered tricycles are prohibited in the north of Xueyuan Road, the south of Lianfang Road, the east of Tiexi street and the west of Donghuan Road.

  Forbidden time: 7:00-20:00 on the main road; 7:00-9:00, 11:00-15:00, 17:00-20:00 for secondary trunk roads and alleys. Traffic is allowed at other times.
