14 low-speed electric vehicle enterprises in Shandong won "access"

  In May 2014, many departments in Shandong Province announced the joint rectification of the low-speed electric vehicle industry in the province. In the past two years, with the efforts of government departments, industry associations and leading enterprises, Shandong has issued the country's first provincial low-speed electric vehicle industry standard, and set up an access system for production enterprises. According to Wei Xueqin, executive vice president and Secretary General of Shandong Provincial Automobile Association, at present, 14 enterprises in Shandong Province have been included in the list of small electric vehicle access enterprises in Shandong Province, and the production capacity of these enterprises reaches 50% of the total production capacity of the province.

  "Automobile production and sales have begun to decline, but the data of small electric vehicles are going up, which shows that many needs were ignored in the past, and now enterprises have seized the market." Wei Xueqin, executive vice president and Secretary General of Shandong Automobile Association, told reporters.

  According to the statistics of Shandong Automobile Industry Association, in 2015, the output of small electric vehicles in the province was 371500, a year-on-year increase of 57.18%. In sharp contrast, the production and sales of commercial vehicles in the province decreased by 13.15% and 12.73% year-on-year in the same year; The production and sales of passenger cars decreased by 11.49% and 10.99% year-on-year.

  Wei Xueqin introduced that this has been the year-on-year growth of the output of low-speed electric vehicles in Shandong Province for four consecutive years. It is understood that from 2012 to 2014, the growth rates were 196.4%, 45.8% and 54.4% respectively. Wei Xueqin also stressed that the increase in output does not mean overcapacity. At present, low-speed electric vehicles exported outside the province have accounted for more than 60% of Shandong's actual production capacity.

  According to the statistics of Shandong Automobile Association, there were 69 small electric vehicle manufacturers in Shandong Province by the end of 2014, with a total investment of 11.628 billion yuan and a production capacity of 1.7 million vehicles. Among them, the industrial clusters in Dezhou, Weifang, Zibo, Liaocheng, Linyi and other cities have begun to take shape.

  Wei Xueqin said that for the development of low-speed electric vehicles, the Shandong provincial government had proposed the principle of "adhering to the principle of upgrading one batch, standardizing one batch and eliminating one batch". Under the background that the national industrial policy is still unclear, the industry self-discipline led by the industry association and actively participated by leading enterprises with high technology and large scale has become an important way of industry transformation and upgrading.
